2. How do we process your information?

In short: We process your information to provide, improve, and administer our Services, communicate with you, for security and fraud prevention, and to comply with law. We may also process your information for other purposes only with your prior explicit consent.

3. What legal bases do we rely on to process your information?

In short: We only process your personal information when we believe it is necessary and we have a valid legal reason to do so.

  • Consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
  • Legal obligations. Where necessary for compliance with our legal obligations.
  • Vital interests. Where necessary to protect vital interests of you or another person.

If you are located in Canada, we may process your information with your express or implied consent. The Services may link to third-party websites, services, or applications. We make no guarantees regarding such third parties and are not liable for any loss caused by their use. Any data collected by third parties is not covered by this Privacy Notice — please review their policies directly.

6. Do we use cookies and other tracking technologies?

In short: We may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to collect and store your information.

We may use cookies, web beacons, and pixels to help maintain security, prevent crashes, fix bugs, save preferences, and support basic site functions. We also permit third parties and service providers to use online tracking technologies for analytics and advertising.

To the extent these technologies are deemed a "sale" or "sharing" under applicable US state laws, you can opt out as described in section 14.

In short: We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Notice unless otherwise required by law.

No purpose in this notice will require us to keep your personal information for longer than the period in which you have an account with us. When we have no ongoing legitimate business need to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it, or — if that is not possible (for example, because it is stored in backup archives) — securely store and isolate it until deletion is possible.

10. How do we keep your information safe?

In short: We aim to protect your personal information through a system of organizational and technical security measures.

No electronic transmission over the Internet or storage technology can be guaranteed 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee that unauthorized third parties will never defeat our security. By using the Services, you represent that you are at least 18 or the equivalent age in your jurisdiction, or that you are the parent or guardian of such a minor and consent to their use of the Services. Most browsers and some mobile operating systems include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature you can activate to signal your privacy preference. At this stage, no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals. If a standard is adopted that we must follow, we will inform you in a revised version of this Privacy Notice.
